Remember Eduardo's broken leg, well you will know where this is going.
Poland defender Marcin Wasilewski sustained a terrible injury in Anderlecht's 1-1 draw against Standard Liege on Sunday and will be unavailable for at least 12 months as a result.
Players should be charged with assault when they tackle like that. Terrible.

Eleven-Match Ban For Standard Liege's Axel Witsel

The Belgian FA (KBVB) have handed Standard Liege midfielder Axel Witsel a hefty suspension after his red card in the 1-1 league draw against Anderlecht on Sunday.

What makes this worse for me is that he justwalked away pleading innocence, if that was me I would feel sick to the core after seeing the guys leg swaying around like that.

I saw this in the newspaper. Unluckily for me, I was eating lunch at our local sandwich 'bar' near work, and as I turned over to the sports page, and saw that... totally put me off my sandwich I'd just bought! :P

Totally out of order and for me the player should be banned for the rest of the season. Bit like Roy Keane on Alf Inge Håland in the Manchester derby, Michael Essien tried the same on Didi Hamman who was lucky to get his leg out of the way enough. At the end of the day it's just thuggish behaviour and if it happened on the street you would be up in court for it.
