Here's a list of Rights & Wrongs of Twitter...

Wrongs

• Links - Want a virus? Click this link, and download, this software - Its that easy
  
• Adverts - "You have won an iPhone".....
  
• More Follower Websites - Don't join up...Unless you want trouble.

Rights

• Links - Make sure the website is safe. Be wary of 'tinyurl' links...It could be something harmful...
  
• Adverts - You will end up (if gullible enough), filling out your phone number and then what can you do? You will recieve spam text messages etc.
  
• More Follower Websites - Don't believe a word of, 'We will boost your followers'. You (and your followers) will likely get the brunt of the spam posts and strange followers
  
• Applications - Check reviews before signing up. If you put in your details, you become vulnerable, to spam posts etc.

Overview

When joining Twitter, you are signing up to a social networking and micro-blogging service...But are you aware you might be signing yourself up to spam and other problems....Only if you are not careful, though.
If you are careful, as I covered above, you will be safe. Hopefully after reading this post, you will become more informed about Twitter and dangers, you may face.

I set up a twitter account but I get very little of value from it so I am glad I used my junk email account to set up.

Its bad that they have not sorted out the virus problem.
