Everyone put this down as a very poor performance by LFC. I won't try and argue that they did the best they could, however a lot of people (pundits included) seem to have completely ignored the first 20mins or so where LFC were quite creative, and almost scored a few times. Gerrard, although no where near top form, looked as dangerous as always at some points (no where near often enought though ). And why is Benayoun starting ahead of Riera, Benayoun is great as an impact sub, but he doesn't have the physical strength currently to last a full EPL game.

Fair enough, but 20 mins playing well at home, defending, and correct me if I am wrong, a record of 31-games undefeated doesn’t constitute a good performance in my book - and it seems as though you are grasping at straws here.
Don’t get me wrong I like Liverpool, but I can also see a bad game and that game was awful for them.

I'm not disagreeing with you, it was an awful game, but for pundits to start saying that there's no way they can win the league now seems a bit stupid, after only 4 games... (that's the problem with "pundits" these days, they're all retired footballers - often not too bright, excluding the BBC - rather than guys that know stuff about tactics..)
