    Default LCD TV's.

Just ordered this little beauty. A special thank you to my bookies who paid for this ( and quite a few other things )due to me winning quite a bit of money from him. Can't wait for it to arrive and get it all set up. Watching Films and Footie is going to hit a new dimension now.

Very nice TV. And very nice of the bookies to pay for it

Networkable as well through DNLA, very nice. The footie will look great on that, when you get the chance that is. The kids will soon have it sewn up watching High School Musical on a loop

Your kids are obviously on the same sync as mine Alan.

To be honest i don't watch tv that much but when the football is on i have total control of the remote control and the kids are relegated to the dining room to watch tv there.

Very nice. If the BBC get F1 in HD next year would you mind a few of us tagging along every fortnight?

A friend of ours was thinking about getting a new TV but it looks like OLED isn't too far away, although the sets that are available are quite pricey at the moment, as LCDs were at their debut.

but smasher do you not have to pay a 10er a month extra for bbc1 hd? My dad wouldn't buy it for me, but do you think i should invest in multi-room? As my brother did?

Jonny, why not get Freesat HD instead? That way you won't have to pay Sky more money than they deserve (I refuse to patronise a company that only issues premium rate numbers for customer service and refuses to reply to emails).

Admittedly with Freesat you won't be able to obtain the subscription based HD channels. I can't see us making a move to HD until there is content on the BBC/ITV channels that justifies the expenditure.
