    Default Corrupt Nations

We seem to be doing slightly better in the corruption stakes than we do in the Eurovision Song Contest, according to latest international statistics: http://www.transparency.org/policy_r...cpi_2009_table

The bad news? The UK is 17th in terms of confidence regarding corruption. The good news? Nobody was caught bribing the judges and we are two places up the ladder from France.

And, yes, it's the UK that was surveyed, not N,Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Scotland or Streatham East

    Default No one caught!

It just shows how good the Judges in England are when it comes to covering up bribes.

I will have a proper look at this when I have time because we are just above the states and just below Japan. Japan is full of corruption, bribery and then public apologies.

Actually, I think you will find if you read other reports that the predominant cause of concern arose from mistrust of politicians, with the majority associating corruption with the ruling socialist party. Confidence in the judiciary was actually quite high

Woohoo! 146! Zimbabwe is a great place to live (Heaven on earth in my opinion (which unfortunately means that it's subject to our earthly troubles)) and no government can change that, although Zanu PF is trying its damnedest.
