Paul Gogarty (Green Party)' says f*** you to Emmet Stagg

Paul Gogarty, a member of Ireland’s Green Party, unloaded some fairly colourful language on Labour Party member Emmet Stagg during a debate about cuts to social welfare Friday.

“With all due respect and in the most unparliamentary language, f*** you Deputy Stagg, f*** you, ” Gogarty shouted to a nearly empty room. He then added, “I apologize now for my use of unparliamentary language.”

No idea what context he was talking, but isn't it nice to see an MP passionate about something. If only other MP's has a backbone to take a stand for what they believe rather than what the Whips tell them.

I think most commentators reason that Ireland's "departure from recession" is merely a statistical blip, and given the rate of unemployment is twice that of the UK and increasing, I would hesitate to dispute that.
