The americans or a candians (can't tell which), did it really well. Got some a-list celebs and gave each other a proper roasting, americans are opinionated and don't feel shy to put people down. ANd it works really well.

The british spin off is risiduclous.. they're not that funny, they don't appear comnfortable enough to take it up a notch and really make things personal.

I just cringed after watching a couple of minutes of it, and changed channel.

Doing this roast was a really bad idea.
