Default Port New Desktop Player with XNA for 360

Hey if anyone would like to help, I think it would a great idea to take the new desktop player and turn it into a XNA XBOX 360 application for UK 360 users,
Now wouldn't that be great, TVCatchup as a XBOX 360 application (not to support micro$oft) but to bring this great experience to 360 users who may not have a pc and who are missing out.

Any ideas? Any 360 users here ? And if so would you watch TVC on your XBOX 360?

eh true i spose i just think (which i obviously didn't portray well ) that at the current moment unless someone volunteers to do it then the tvc team must surely be super busy with the release of the desktop app and all of the other 'stuff' up their sleeves but for the future it does sound good

if there was a 360 app i would definitely use it even if it cost a few points no more than a couple of 100 points.

The opening post talks about "porting" the application, I do not think this is possible. As 360 is not a PC and does not have everything we currently use.

Id think it would have to be a ground up application, but Im all for it. We just need to find someone who loves TV, loves their XBOX and can develop applications.

Im an XNA developer and creators club member, i'll give it ago...
does tvc output in windows media? if not it may require on the fly transcoding...

It will be difficult because XNA doesn't actually have network access, and a transcoder would have to be written unless TVC have an acceptable format being streamed already... what formats do you guys currently have up other than flash?
