Using Google Chrome with new flash player and TVCatchup was unwatchable. Removed flash player with the uninstaller and then downloaded flash player10r12_36.exe and now TVCatchup works perfectly Thank you for this info.... Love the idea of watching freeview on my laptop.

Yep Flash Player 10r12_36 is the one I downgraded to after having same problems. I actually gave up for a while thinking it was just the site been overloaded but thankfully that its clearly not the case.

Got a fab pic now on all channels again

I have an old graphics card (VIA/S3G Unichrome Pro IGP) and I think it may not be compatable with the Flash10.1 Beta or it could well be MS and one of their updates as was posted above.

Either way, just glad to be able to watch TVC again!

Thanks for the information TVC_James. I've now updated to Firefox 3.6.4, as suggested by Peregrin, but it doesn't come as a surprise to find the problem is still there, so once again I've had to revert to v10.0.45.2. There's very little difference in the graphic card capabilities of the two PCs mentioned in my original post - v10.1 works fine on 32bit XP but not on 64bit Windows 7 although the card is fine with the earlier plug in. As I use NoScript, the vulnerabilities of the earlier version are mitigated, but it would be nice to find a proper solution.

Red face Please sort it out

like others my flash player updated. but i dont think i should be changing back to my old one, instead i think it would be good if tvc updated itself so i can enjoy this great site once again.

It would be helpful if people stated what browser and system they're using, (including whether it's 32 or 64bit), and perhaps their graphic card details too. Simply saying that flash v10.1 does or does not work will not help identify what the issue is. One of my PCs running 32bit XP works with v10.1 while the other, using 64bit Windows 7, doesn't.....

Exactly phisher king as I am sure this Firefox update could be linked as well as after it updated I got a Flash error message which I duly ignored.
