Some channels not playing on iPad
Great facility. Keep up the good work. Connecting through wifi - 3g too slow despite good service. Can't pick up some channels, mainly sky channels, Dave and virgin. After a lag just getting a crossed off play symbol. Tried going through forum for answer but can't quite get same symptoms. Any ideas?

Errm, the channels are being sent out and are 100% with no issues so now we have to look at why you are not receiving them.
Do you have any problems with any other live streaming sites? BBC iPlayer on the iPad

No problems with other streams e.g. iplayer etc. and cache has been cleared. System works without problem on my MacBook so I am thinking my router is configured fine. Seems more than coincidence that it is all the sky channels and the other "nice to have" channels. Entirely understand we are still in development stage so can only say thanks for the great work on the stuff that does come through.
Hand on heart there is nothing blocking them from this end as there just wouldn't be no point in doing so, the only thing I can think of is speaking to James and see if we can work out why you are not receiving certain channels.

Impressive response times to questions.anyway just to describe experience....

Channel list fully available
Select a channel within BBC, ITV,CH4 and CH5 and I am presented with black screen with play button in middle
Press play and instant stream.....excellent
Back a stage and select a sky or none of above and black screen comes....a bit of a lag then play button appears with line through it.
Hope this description helps nail the problem.

Passed it on to James and lets see if anything comes up, I seem to remember something like this before, but for the life of me I cannot remember, I think something like going to iTunes and doing a restore i.e. factory reset cured the problem, but lets leave that till later.

Has anybody found a cure for this? I'm experiencing exactly the same issue. Works fine on my iPhone but Dave, Sky etc just won't play.
