A game that I thought was quite good was SPY vs SPY.
I think it was on the c64 or amiga,(or both).
Ive not got a link for the pc as i dont even know if its available for the pc.

i have the mastersystem emu as too the n64 emu...cant beat the old type 8bit and 64bit old consoles and stuff including the atari PC whatsit..the one with the tape things and the humble basic amstrad PC, they are what i was braught up with and have fond memories with them

I Pah! your choice of all time fav retro games. How could you have forgotten that truly engrossing game Elite. I cried tears of joy when my brother in 2007 told and introduced me to its reincarnation Eve.

I used to wake up two hours before school on a morning, just to have a `fix` of Elite on my 48k Speccy before going off to school.

I'm welling up reminiscing about it, right this now.

... but I suppose its different horses for different courses, so as long as you're video gaming, its all good.

Tetris :P that was a retro game. But now they have a modern version now :/
