Well, I was bored and have been meaning to do this for a while so I have gone ahead and installed Ubuntu on another partition on my PC. Had a few issues when installing with getting my ATI Drivers to even work and then even more of a headache getting both my monitors to work properly but finally did it after a lot of time in terminal :P
Anyway, I installed Chrome (purely for the bookmark sync) and noticed that Flash Plugin doesn't come installed (even though the Adobe Website is adamant that you have it). So I did the trick where you copy the plug-in from Firefox to the Chrome plug-in directory and then force Chrome to look for extensions on start-up.
Anyway, here comes the problem. In Chrome everything is jerky as hell and half the site doesn't render (I assume that is cos of the border adds) and when I full screen It trys to span both monitors but only shows on one of them (so I have about 1/4 of the picture)
Now in FF there is no jitering (so plugin bs with Chrome explains that) but the player still goes all crazy on full screen. YouTube works perfectly fine with both browsers, including full screen, so wondering why it hates TVC so much....
If anyone has a similar setup (Linux + ATI + Dual Monitors) then I would be happy if you could suggest and possible fixes
Thanks in advance,
