How to Change Blocked Sites in Norton Antivirus
Instructions
1. Open the Norton Antivirus program.
2. Double-click the "Parental Control" icon to open a new window.
3. Click the drop-down menu next to the line "Parental Control Settings for," then select the account for which you want to change the settings.
4. Click the "Sites" button.
5. Uncheck any boxes in the "Categories" section to allow access to that entire category of blocked sites.
6. Click "Exceptions" to unblock a specific website. Choose the site to which you want to allow access, then click the "Add" button. Click "OK" to save the settings. Norton Antivirus software should now grant access to the site.
How Do I Unblock a Website From Norton 360?
Instructions
1. Click the "Start" button in the lower-left corner of the screen, and click "All Programs" "Symantec" and "Norton 360" on your Windows PC to open the program.
2. Click the "Tasks and Settings" tab, and click "Change Advanced Settings."
3. Click "Firewall Protection Settings" and "General Rules." Click the blocked website in the list, and click the "Modify" button.
4. Click "Permit" and click "Next." Select "Inbound and outbound" and click "Next."
5. Click "Any computer" for the settings of the modified firewall rule, and click "Next."
6. Check the box next to "All types of communication" and click "Next." Read over the on-screen information to confirm you wish to make the changes to your firewall's settings.
7. Click "Next" twice, and click "Apply" to save the changes. Click "Close" to exit out the your Norton 360 Preferences.
