    Default XBMC iOs support

I can't make the plug-in work on iOS - does it?

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers.

I was looking at this last night and I was trying to understand why and what this does, admittedly I only spent 2 mins on it.

Not really sure what you're asking. Not only that, but iOS doesn't support Flash does it? I'll have a look later and see what I can dig up.

I was watching an XBMC plugin for the iPhone control apple TV, but still trying to workout what that has to do with TVCatchup and really what is wrong with a normal remote?

XBMC can now be installed on AppleTV2, jailbroken iPad/iPhone4
What good is a tablet that makes you play by its rules? We at XBMC want our media our way.
    * You guessed it, this is full-blown XBMC. Not a remote.
    * Launch XBMC like any other app.
    * Drag and drop media from your computer, or share it on your home-network
    * Also fully hardware accelerated for most formats.
    * Works on iPhone4, though it’s currently frustrating to use.
    * Challenge: Who will be the first to create a gesture-driven skin?
I think shoesy has installed XBMC on one of the above devises tryed to use the XBMC plugin but it did not work.
Now if it was on an iphone/ipad/ipod then I don't realy see a problem with the plugin not working as thay have there own streams.
The best defence is a strong offense, and I intend to start offending right now.

Ahhhhh, now that makes more sence. If that's the case then a log file is helpful.

You are of course right Simmo2001, sorry for being unclear - I was so wrapped up in the thought of xbmc for iOS i forgot myself!

Anyway - here is the pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/vQi55PA1

Looks like rtmp is not supported by iOS yet Does that mean it's up to team XBMC to step up that end?

Yep, looking at the log it tends to suggest they haven't finished porting the RTMPLib to it yet. Don't give up though as, as it doesn't actually use Adobe's Flash player there is a far chance it will come.
