Default Why do you use TVCatchup?

Tell us why you use TVCatchup.com and how?

We are especially interested to hear from people who cannot get freeview in their area or any other instances like that.

For example the other day I was helping a young guy out who was bedridden and TVCatchup.com was his godsend and that set me thinking how many people are there who have similar stories.

Because it's amazing? lol. It's great. I don't see the point in buying a TV seeing as the majority of the stuff I watch is on demand. If there's something I want to watch live, I use my second monitor for TV Catchup The radio feature was nice as well but not sure what happened with that.

Default Why I use tv catchup

I use it on my iPhone sometimes, but to watch
Channels I can't get on freeview, when husb is watching sky, or
if I'm working upstairs; we lost loads of freeview channels
    with last update

Default Why don't I more like!

Originally I used TV Catchup on my iPhone when I was working late and it was quiet, it gave me something to do. Then before I go Freesat I used it to watch TV in bed that I couldn't get on ordinary TV. When I found Dave on the website I began to use it on my laptop mainly for Top Gear.

Since using it on the iPhone I have used it on iPod Touch, Android, PC/Mac and now BlackBerry.

The service you guys offer is brilliant. I've been waiting in the Taxi queue at 3AM before and used the service on my phone over 3G / HSDPA for half an hour, it's awesome!

Only have freeview 'lite' in my area. Use it for CSI marathons on Five USA and some of the stuff on Viva/Sky 3

I don't have space for a telly as at the moment home = office and this is ideal... As I spend so much time at the computer working, its handy to have petering away in the background while I work.

Not only that, but its like the "smartphone effect" One device that does all. Its nice to have a little bit of hardware that does alot as opposed to a load of hardware all over the place which does exactly the same.

    Why do you use TVCatchup?
To boldly watch where no man has watched before.
In the Car, when cleaning attic/garrage, on the bus or train and once in Pizza Hut (can not miss EastEnders now can we!).

I wanted a minimal approach to my tv set-up, i'm running everything we watch and listen through my HTPC, all dvds stored on HDD (9TB), and thus since i spent £200 on a aerial thats a load of rubbish since we live in a dip..using TVC makes sense, am happy with the quality of the service, and its great not having another remote control for freeview, only having 1 remote control for everything is brilliant...Long live XBMC!!
    Well done guys at TVC!
I like pickled onion space raiders!!!
