    Default PS3 - Laser failure



    Hey guys, recently playing on my PS3 and stopped mid game. have been told that laser reader on the blink. Had it 2 1/2 years. What options do I have? Can i but a new part and install myself?

    PS3 was released with several brands of readers. Try find out what brand yours is and ebay a replacement It might just need a lense cleaning.

    I would just recommend just throwing the PS3 out of the window and buying an Xbox.. You won't look back
