I am currently watching documentary Religulous (2008) and its just done a funny bit about how the story of Jesus is the same as the story of Horus (egyptian god).

I never heard of this, so tapped it into google. I knew that a lot of religious texts share common storys but this says it all for me.

It's quite a good flick. I downloaded a load of illuminati docs a few years ago to see me through a long-haul flight and came across horus.

However as everything is written in English there could be all sort of mis-translations and wishful thinking.

I prefer the theory that the wise men were actually Buddhists and Jesus went away from his family for Buddhist training and thus came back talking about a whole new way of thinking as opposed to Judaism. Then after his successful escape from death decided maybe leaving the country would be a good thing and went back to his training ground until he died of old age.
