Thread: missing plugin folder -windows7

    Default missing plugin folder -windows7



    I've installed and ran the latest xbmc dharma.Now i've quit xbmc and went to put the tvcatchup plugin into the plugins folder ,but this folder isn't there.

    I may be wrong, but have you tried creating one called "plugins" and continue with the instructions.

    Edit: The instructions say that the plugins folder can be in 1 of three locations, so ensure you check them all.

    You don't need to create anything. All you need to do on Dharma is download the plugin from here then put it somewhere XBMC can see. Next go into "Settings" and "Addons". Then choose "Install From Zip" and browse the the Zip file. Finally, put your username and password in the Settings and off you go. Any problems just ask.

    Yes it works like you say Gerbil

    Thanks so much for the modifications from the old version.
    Seems like the folks at XBMC might have made some convertor
    or something to convert all the old style plugins, into new style
    add-ons. I have a stack of Voinage plugins, that are now useless.

    I had to choose "executer", after that bit.(no i didn't )

    Can XBMC run emulator front ends,(mamewah) please say it can ?

    Yea it can, but for instructions on how to do it you'd be best searching their forums at http://forum.xbmc.org as I've got no idea how to do it.

    Aye ,just got caught up in the moment .I forgot you didn't put together XBMC.
