    Default F1 to Sky

Breaking news that F1 will be sharing the rights with Sky Sports and BBC from next season onwards .

    Terrible news for Formula 1.

WTF BBC Sport director Barbara Slater said: "We are absolutely delighted that F1 will remain on the BBC.

Yeah like hell it will with no practice, no qualifying, and only half the races being shown on the BBC what the **** is she talking about, stupid bint...!!!! Really pissed off...

Colwal I would have excused you if you had missed out the asterix's and used the proper words instead. This is not good for any F1 fan. We now have a choice of just watching half the races or paying to see the full season what does 'full sky sports treatment mean'. Next thing they will be announcing is that Eddie Jordon will be heading the commentary team!

That is seriously bad news. And then can we expect the following year for the stupid bint to be merrily announcing, "We've found an even better way to save money on formula 1. As our service to viewers has become a total mess I am orgasmically delighted to give it all to Sky to ensure a cohesive viewing experience for all our ex-viewers!"

Something like that is bound to happen. The current team are not going to remain as they are with only half the sessions to cover, unless Sky is taking the BBC package as is.

What an excellent example showing how marketers lie to make themselves or their products look good:

Sky Sports' managing director Barney Francis added: "This is fantastic news for F1 fans
No it isn't you ****ing moron. The fans pay nothing now and you will make them pay. What kind of fantastic is that?

BBC Sport director Barbara Slater said: "We are absolutely delighted that F1 will remain on the BBC
No you aren't you ****ing moron. All your colleagues and fans think you're an absolutel dick-head for throwing away what is great coverage at a time when viewing figures are at their peak. And if F1 fans switch to full coverage at Sky what makes you think anyone is going to watch F1 on the BBC any more?

All this is going to do is drive the pirating world into extremes and you will see Sky Sports pirate streams popping up all over the place <---- trying hard to remain professional on that point, but if it happens well sod em....

Two faced bitch. From today's Telegraph:
Barbara Slater, the BBC's new Head of Sport, will fight for 'Crown Jewels'

The BBC will resist any weakening of the listing system that preserves sport’s 'Crown Jewels', arguing that its coverage of events like Wimbledon provides a crucial public service, the corporation’s new Head of Sport has told The Daily Telegraph
Presumably she doesn't consider F1 to be part of the crown jewels.
