Thread: WP7 Device

    Default WP7 Device

I know this has been asked before, but I can't find a thread that's at least a few months old and things may have changed.

But I'm looking in the market to get a WP7 device (Perhaps the Nokia Lumia) but recently discovered there is no support for TVCatchup. Will you be adding a site/changing your site to support WP7 in the future/creating an app. I love the site but would hate to be limited to it.

Unless Microsoft have decided to start supporting the fairly common parameters seen in its rivals then I'm afraid WP7 has ruled itself out of compatibility with our unified mTVC service for the time being.

I've not had a chance to try WP7 Mango with TVC but has that changed anything?

Which formats would it need to support? You can currently steam alot on WP7, even sky news. maybe its not Microsoft who isn't support 'common parameters', maybe it TVC focusing on apple products rather than focusing on everyone

mTVC is able to support Android, Blackberry and even some Symbian handsets. - L.Rawlins

Nope our m.tvcatchup.com link is open to most all other mobiles including Android OS which is on massively more mobiles than WP7.
