Ethernet cable is a Cat5 cable with RJ45 Connectors. Its the most common networking cable that is used to connect all computers (xbox) to a network.

They are very easy to make yourself (but you will need a crimp tool) which is why you may find it cheaper to get Ethernet cable from eBay?
