    Default Vpn

    Hello,

I am a UK resident, pay my TV license etc etc. BUT I am regularly abroad, such as right now.

I have thought about using a VPN, but can see that I am unable to use any old free one.

What I would like to know is, could I use my VPN that I have set up from home or work???

I'm sure it won't be blocked, but would just like to know if this is allowed.

    Many thanks
    Dan

100% no as we block all hosters that provide VPN's.
    Please see this post http://forums.tvcatchup.com/showthre...oxies-amp-VPNs

P.S. The VPN that you are using at the moment from Simply Transit Ltd is blocked

What I wanted to know though, is if I hosted my own VPN, where would I stand?

Still blocked and illegal as the streams are ONLY intended for within the confines of the UK's borders and your UK licence is only valid here as well.
