    Default Fail



    It doesn't matter if I use my laptop, iPad, a pc (mine or anyone else's) it buffers, connection is lost over and over. I tried watching a film and I had to re start the thing no less than 7 times!!!! I used to really like using tvcatchup but I'm really starting to get fed up of this happening every time I use it

    When you try someone else's computer are they also on Virgin Media?

    It's quite possible,yes. I don't have the same problems with watching Iplayer, 4od ect though.

    4oD and most of iPlayer are static videos, not live streams and are therefore completely different. As for the BBC's live streams, I think you'll find Virgin actually prioritise the BBC's traffic over that of normal internet traffic.

    Ok. Well it only seems to occurring in the last few weeks before that it was fine. Any suggestions?

    Ok, to start off, try rebooting your computer and your router. Basically turn everything off, wait 30 seconds, then turn it all back on. Next try clearing you Cache, Cookies and Temporary Internet Files.

    If I may but in in half time but have you tried another browser as your useragent says you are using the Chrome browser which has issues with TVC.
